Sean Brennan JD
Associate for K&L Gates LLP in Houston. Sean was previous at Morgan Lewis in their litigation division. Mr. Brennan represents clients in a wide range of areas including complex commercial, environmental, oil and gas, toxic tort, premises liability, personal injury, and product liability litigation.
Mr. Brennan has represented individuals and corporations in premises liability actions, negligent-activity actions, personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, products liability actions, mass tort actions, and oil spill contamination litigation. He has recently assisted in the defense an oil field services company in the Deepwater Horizon matter to a successful dismissal of all claims.
In addition, Mr. Brennan maintains an active pro bono practice, having represented a detained minor in seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, resulting in a successful grant of declaratory judgment. He has also represented a client seeking a new trial for damages from a breach of contract through the court of appeals, resulting in a favorable judgment for the client.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Brennan was an associate at a Houston-based litigation boutique firm. Mr. Brennan received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2009. During law school, he was senior law clerk for Judge Joseph "Tad" Halbach in the 333rd Civil District Court of Harris County. He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. Mr. Brennan is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
